The Missionary Sisters of Mary Immaculate (MSMI) is a dedicated and fast-growing Pontifical religious Congregation founded by Msgr. C. J. Varkey Kuzhikulam on 8 September 1962. Rooted in deep faith and inspired by the virtues of Mary Immaculate, the congregation was formed with a mission to bring Christ’s Redemptive love to all, especially the poor, the marginalized, and the spiritually needy.
With a charism centered on prayer, simplicity, service, and missionary zeal, the MSMI Sisters engage actively in evangelization, catechesis, education, healthcare, social upliftment, family apostolate, and parish ministry. Their joyful presence and wholehearted service continue to transform lives in India and abroad.
Expanding their missionary presence beyond the country, MSMI Sisters also serve with dedication in Germany, Italy and other countries, contributing to pastoral ministry, elderly care, community development, and various forms of spiritual support.
At Holy Family Church, the MSMI Sisters are a true blessing to the parish community. Their involvement in catechism, family visits, youth formation, prayer ministry, and social outreach reflects their compassionate nature and missionary spirit. Their presence enriches parish life with spiritual warmth, discipline, and a deep commitment to living out the Gospel.
We gratefully acknowledge their invaluable service and pray that the Lord may continue to strengthen and bless the Missionary Sisters of Mary Immaculate in their mission to make Christ known and loved everywhere.
